What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm. Doors will open around 1:25pm and close by 1:55pm. We recommend giving yourself time to find your seat no later than ten minutes before the start time. Please plan accordingly.
Is there parking onsite for the Church?
While the Church does not have its own parking lot for public use, there is plenty of street parking next to and near the Church. There are also many public parking garages and lots near and across the street from the Church. If you are driving, please give yourself plenty of time to park.
Is there parking onsite for Southall Meadows?
Yes! Southall Meadows has it's own onsite gravel parking lot. There will be signs and directions as to where to park. Parking is not allowed overnight, so if you are driving, please plan accordingly and safely.
Will shuttles be offered?
Yes, a shuttle service will be offered for the reception going to and from Southall Meadows. Pickup will be from the Hilton Cool Springs. Shuttles will begin running at 4pm.
What do I do between the ceremony and reception?
With the ceremony ending around 3pm and reception starting around 5pm, this leaves room for what's known as the "Catholic Gap." During this time, we recommend our guests staying at the hotel to go back, freshen up, and catch a ride on the shuttle! For our local guests who may be a little too far from home, we recommend hanging out in downtown Franklin. We just ask that you make sure to come hungry and thirsty!
Are kids invited?
With the exception of our flower girl for the ceremony, we kindly request our wedding to be adults only. We love your little ones but we want this to be a night off for you so you can party hard!
Do I get a plus one?
Due to limited space and catering logistics, only those with an indicated plus one on their invites are allowed to bring a plus one.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP no later than September 4, 2026. If you do not RSVP by then, we will consider that a no and will not have a place for you at the wedding. Our vendors require we have a final list to give them in a timely manner, which is why we cannot offer exceptions to this. Likewise, if you RSVP yes and can no longer make it, please let us know as soon as possible. Thank you!
What should I wear?
Our dress code is cocktail attire. We would love our guests to look their best while also feeling comfortable and leaning into those fun patterns and colors!
For men, tuxes are not required, but we would love to see you in a shirt and tie with dress pants.
For ladies, you can leave the ball gowns at home, but we would love to see you in a beautiful midi- or maxi-dress. Skinny heals are discouraged as our venue has some areas of gravel and grass. Our colors are on theme with the season of fall. The only color we request you not wear is white! Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be taking place inside, in a church. Our reception will be a mix between indoors and outdoors weather permitting. October in Tennessee can range from 50s to 80s. In years past, highs have averaged in the 70s and upper 60s during the day and lows have dropped to anywhere from high 40s-low 60s at night.
Please reach out to us if you have any further questions. We can't wait to see you all there!
